Surge the Tenrec - 3D animation, rigging, model and blockout showcase

Here is my last project, Surge the Tenrec, from the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise! It took one week approximately to make. The main goal wasn't to make an animation, but I thought I could give it a try doing a simple rig and some poses.

I started the blockout in ZBrush, then I moved the model to Autodesk Maya to retopologize, make UVs, texture, rig and animate everything. The render was made using the toon shaders from VRay. I also used Adobe Premiere, Photoshop and Substance Painter for some minor details.

This model is available for purchase - Just contact me on Artstation if you would like to adquire it!
